This is a restaurant I visit frequently ... the server was very friendly and came to the table when she saw me at down since member of my party was there before me ... Started off with the Pow Pow shrimp .... The serving was very healthy today and heavy on the shrimp. The flavor was also on point also. For my entree I did something and went with the power bowl and it was amazing ... the tuna was prepared perfectly .... The mix of all the ingredients was a perfect combo .. esp just leaving the gym. This was very light and refreshing .... Thx Hickory Tavern
We had to wait about ten minutes before someone came to wait on us. However, the waitress, named "T" was fantastic. We complained about how no one had waited on us and she apologized and immediately took our order. Two minutes later she came back with the manager in tow. Josh was a very personable man and he too apologized. He also said he would comp our meal as a way to make it up to us. The food was great (my wife had a double burger and I had a pulled pork sandwich. We both felt like we would happily come back, hopefully with friends. If you should come to the Hickory Tavern, as if "T" is working and try to get a table in her area. BTW there are scads of tv's and plenty of seating. Bottom line; We enjoyed our first experience at Hickory and we will be back.
Service was amazing Mikayla did so freaking good cared for us and was not hesitant to serve from her heart we lived her periodt.
Five stars, 1 and 1/2 for Mikayla alone! Great service. Good chili, great quaisadia great salad, great tap and great decor.
